Product direction & experience
Turning domain complexity into clear workflows, product boundaries, and usable experiences for providers and healthcare organizations.
Healthcare infrastructure · Beyond
An ongoing product engineering partnership spanning product, web, backend, healthcare data, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
01 / Ongoing partnership
Since 2021, Incub8 has worked alongside MediBlock to shape and evolve a healthcare platform for provider identity and credentialing. The engagement has grown into an ongoing engineering partnership spanning product direction, web applications, backend systems, healthcare data, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
We help the system absorb new workflows, data sources, operational requirements, and stages of growth without losing the foundations that already carry the product.
02 / Where we contribute
Our role crosses product and engineering boundaries. We continue to help wherever the next constraint appears—from the user experience to the infrastructure carrying it in production.
Turning domain complexity into clear workflows, product boundaries, and usable experiences for providers and healthcare organizations.
Building the provider and organization-facing applications used for onboarding, profiles, documents, forms, reports, and collaboration.
Designing APIs, domain services, data models, permissions, audit trails, and real-time capabilities that can expand with the product.
Modeling provider data and creating ingestion, normalization, enrichment, and lookup systems around public healthcare sources.
Operating versioned AWS infrastructure for applications, databases, identity, storage, queues, encryption, networking, and observability.
Reducing manual work through configurable forms, PDF packs, document processing, reminders, reporting, and asynchronous workflows.
Applying language and vision models where they improve document understanding, entity matching, and information retrieval.
Strengthening tenant boundaries, sensitive-data handling, releases, health checks, monitoring, and day-to-day engineering operations.
03 / The underlying complexity
A provider profile connects identity, education, licenses, certifications, affiliations, continuing education, references, documents, attestations, and organization-specific requirements. Every item has its own source, lifecycle, permissions, and proof.
The product therefore has to make dense healthcare data usable while supporting evolving workflows, configurable documents, external registries, sensitive information, and a dependable audit history.
04 / Engineering judgment
Provider, account, organization, credential, and evidence concepts remain explicit so new workflows can share a durable foundation.
Semantic application fields are separated from physical PDF coordinates, reducing the need to hard-code each new form and pack.
Queues and background workers carry document parsing, notifications, and other long-running workflows with visible failure and retry behavior.
Permissions, audit context, encryption, idempotency, and stable client contracts are introduced through deliberate, staged changes.
05 / Product system
The work connects user-facing workflows to a shared platform, data layer, automation system, and cloud foundation rather than treating each feature as an isolated build.
06 / Still evolving
MediBlock remains an active work in progress. As the product grows, Incub8 continues to help across its product experience, application architecture, data systems, automation, infrastructure, and operational foundations.
That continuity matters: the people helping shape the next capability also understand the decisions, constraints, and systems that brought the platform this far.
